NOTICE REGARDING THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA


We would like to inform you that Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (GDPR) came into force and has been uniformly adopted by all EU member states starting May 25, 2018.

In accordance with the provisions of Article 13, Information and access to personal data, of the GDPR, we would like to inform you of the purpose for which we process your personal data and your rights regarding the protection of personal data.

PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

In accordance with the provisions of Law no. 212/2022 regarding certain measures to reduce the seismic risk of buildings, MDLPA will process your personal data such as name and surname, email address, phone number, etc., noting that we do not process these data for any other purpose than the one stipulated by law and mentioned above.

We would like to inform you that MDLPA does not transfer these data to any other state within the European Union or to a third country.

You can also exercise the right to be forgotten, the right to delete your data, by notifying us 30 days before the legal retention period expires. Additionally, your data will be stored in our database for a maximum period of 5 years, in accordance with the legislation in force.

According to the General Data Protection Regulation No. 679/2016, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access to data means that you have the right to request and receive a response regarding whether your personal data is being processed. If the answer is affirmative, you have the right to access those data and information on how they are processed.
  • Right to data deletion ("right to be forgotten") means that you have the right to request the deletion of personal data without undue delay if you withdraw your consent and there is no other legal basis for processing.
  • Right to restriction means that you have the right to request the restriction of how your personal data are processed. Once restricted, these data can only be processed with your consent.
  • Right to data portability refers to the right to receive personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. You also have the right for these data to be transmitted directly to another operator, if technically feasible.
  • Right to object refers to the right to object to the processing of personal data when processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or when it concerns a legitimate interest of the operator. When personal data processing is for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time.
  • Right to rectification refers to the correction, without undue delay, of inaccurate personal data. The rectification will be communicated to each recipient to whom the data have been disclosed, unless this proves impossible or involves disproportionate effort.
